Problem
getting this error message on all my pages “the following translators were not loaded due to errors: XSLT.htm: has configuration information that is invalid.” while open, create and change something in file.. in Adobe Dreamweaver CS3/Dreamweaver 8.0

OR

The following translators were not loaded due to errors:
Spry.htm: has configuration information that is invalid.
XSLT.htm: has configuration information that is invalid.

Microsoft launched ASP.NET MVC Beta

Microsoft have released the first official beta of their MVC framework for ASP.NET 3.5 runtime. The framework has already been through several preview releases from the ASP.NET team, gathering feedback from the developer community, but this is the first time it will go out to a broader user base for testing.

The MVC pattern is particularly popular amongst developers following a test driven development methodology, as it encourages good seperation of concerns, and makes it much easier to test applications. Ruby on Rails has been largely responsible for the resurgance of interest in this pattern, combined with its rapid prototyping capacibilities.

How to install Tracks on Debian Lenny with Apache mod_fcgid

Unfortnately it’s written in Ruby on Rails which can be a bit of a pain to set up under Linux, especially if you want to use Apache as the webserver instead of the built-in WEBrick server. I’m already running Apache on my server and I didn’t feel like running a second webserver on a different, non-standard port just for this one app. It took me quite a bit of time to piece it all together, but here’s how I set up Tracks in Debian Lenny.
